Glenelg BMW & Mini — Partek Construction & Interiors

Timelapse, photography, video and drone coverage of the Glenelg BMW and MINI Garage redevelopment, delivered across three stages by Partek Construction & Interiors.

We had a timelapse camera running on site from the first stage through to the last, capturing the full build. Once complete, we came back to shoot the finished exterior — trickier than it sounds. Power lines and trees were casting shadows across the building at sunrise, and by afternoon the sun dropped in directly behind it, flattening the light completely.

So we waited for the right morning — blue sky over the ocean, cloud sitting in the hills — and got in at dawn for a clean shot. A bit of retouching cleaned up the remaining power lines for the final result — all part of the service.

When SAGE Automation set out to double their manufacturing capacity at Tonsley, Partek Construction delivered the 2,200m² Advanced Manufacturing Centre that made it possible. We documented the full build through fixed-position timelapse and on-site stills — capturing the structure rising, the fitout taking shape, and the final facility ready to put Australian-made control systems into defence, transport and water projects nationally and overseas.
